“Generative Components is without any doubt the leading parametric system in architectural practices today.”  -Martyn Day from the latest issue of AEC Magazine.  The article is entitled “Smart Geometry 09.”

Wow.

I am impressed.  I’m sure Robert Aish is kicking himself for going to AutoDesk, since GC is “without any doubt” the best of the best.  Is the sky falling or is it just the Perseid meteor shower?

I really can’t think of how GC is “leading” anything in any category.  Revit is sales “leader,” Catia/DP is the geometry “leader,” Grasshopper is the academic “leader,” and ArchiCAD is the design “leader.”  The only thing GC is leading, is new architecture graduates straight to the unemployment line.
